When the going gets tough, the carbine is the platform of choice for defensive situations. When used properly, it is the ultimate tool for the protection of family and self. The Basic Carbine course is designed to provide each student with the core skills needed to properly use the carbine in a safe and effective manner in defensive situations. The course curriculum covers the following topics: marksmanship fundamentals (sight alignment, sight picture, trigger manipulation, zeroing of sights), carbine manipulation (loading, unloading, malfunction clearance), and extensive shooting drills at various distances using several shooting positions.
